Recruitment for Affordable Housing Utilizing JKK Residences for Families with Children and Newlyweds

JKK Tokyo (Tokyo Metropolitan Housing Supply Corporation) is launching an affordable housing initiative in partnership with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to meet the housing needs of growing families. Starting in June, JKK will offer affordable rental units, defined as housing where families can live with peace of mind at reasonable rents. The program targets families with children (under 18) and newlyweds (married less than 3 years) with a household income of less than 12 million yen. Eligible units are 45 square meters or larger with at least two rooms, located in areas suitable for child-rearing. Rent will be reduced by 20% for a period of up to 12 years for families with children, or 3 years for newlyweds (extendable). The first recruitment period begins on June 23, Reiwa 8.
