Eleanor is played by June Squibb, 96 years old. She is the same elderly woman who powerfully portrayed Thelma in 'Thelma & Louise: The 93-Year-Old Revenge,' a major hit in Japan. Nina, the student who deepens her friendship with Eleanor, is played by Erin Kellyman, known for 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' and the '28 Years Later...' series. This ultimate friendship, which begins with a "lie," moves people's hearts. This special story, dedicated to a beloved grandmother, is finally having its premiere in Japan!

Devastated by the sudden death of her lifelong best friend, Eleanor returns to her hometown to spend her remaining years.

She moves to New York. However, her daughter is distant, and her grandchildren are always busy. One day, she wanders into a Holocaust survivors' group meeting. Feeling out of place, Eleanor, though bewildered, recounts the life story her deceased friend, a Holocaust survivor, had told only her, as if it were her own experience. Nina, a student aspiring to be a journalist, is deeply moved by this tragic past and opens up to Eleanor. Eleanor's heart soars with this new friendship with Nina, who recently lost her mother, transcending their age difference. However, the well-intentioned lie spirals out of control, leading to a major commotion...
