Artwork Completed | Nelly Kaplan Blu-ray Box Set

The artwork for the 'Nelly Kaplan Blu-ray Box Set,' releasing on Wednesday, August 5, has been completed!

The tri-panel box is adorned with pistachio green and berry tones—colors also used as the main palette in the poster visuals for the retrospective screening 'Beware of Nelly! The Nelly Kaplan Retrospective.' This is a meticulously crafted collector's item by designer Yukiko Yamada, featuring design even on the <bottom surface of the box>, which is usually unseen.

Each film's jacket is full-color on both sides! The front displays the special visuals released during the retrospective screening, while the inside features a standout scene from each respective film.

The enclosed leaflet includes commentary on each film by Kaito Takeuchi, a French literature researcher and subtitle translator. The texts are updated versions of those published in the screening's pamphlet, making them essential reading even for those who already own the pamphlet.

The Blu-ray Box, containing four films by director Nelly Kaplan, will be released on Wednesday, August 5, alongside individual Blu-ray releases.
