CS Satellite Theater will broadcast the Chinese drama "Shadow Love" for the first time in Japan starting July 22 (Wed) at 9:00 PM.

This drama, adapted from the novel by author Jiu Lu Fei Xiang, also known for the hit drama "Love Between Fairy and Devil," stars Song Yi (known for "Face to Face," "Joy of Life") and Cheng Lei, who gained breakout fame with "Love of the Kunlun Mountains." Directed by the acclaimed Dong Ke, who also worked on "The Legend of Zhen Huan" and "The Legend of Xiao Chuo," this epic period drama depicts the "forbidden" love between a female general and the imperial brother of an enemy nation with overwhelming visual beauty. Its high visual quality and unpredictable storyline have generated buzz on Chinese social media.
