To improve baseball skills, it is essential to accurately understand current physical abilities and foundational fitness. This event will conduct various physical assessments for youth baseball players, quantifying their current physical capabilities. By converting performance into measurable data, participants can clearly identify strengths and areas for improvement, helping them shape future training routines and their overall approach to baseball. Organized by WACCA Ikebukuro and supported by Westside G.K. and ZETT Co., Ltd., this event serves as a valuable preparatory opportunity for enhancing athletic performance in middle school and beyond.
◯ Participant Benefits - Measure current physical fitness numerically → Gain objective insights into physical abilities, not just subjective feelings. - Boost motivation → Trackable records make growth easier to recognize. - Discover strengths and weaknesses → Identify strong and weak physical abilities to apply to future practice. - Prepare for middle school baseball → Set long-term goals by understanding current physical capabilities.
◯ Assessment Content Body measurements / Flexibility test / Grip strength / Back strength / Swing speed / Standing triple jump / 30m sprint (cancelled in case of rain) The assessments are adapted from the ZETT Athlete Test, customized for elementary school students. https://zett-baseball.jp/pages/athlete_test All results will be measured and feedback provided.
