13 Kyushu Breweries Gather in Nagoya: 'SHOCHU NEW WAVE' Event for Beginners on June 7

Okadaya Co., Ltd. will host a shochu event, 'Japan Craft Spirits Holiday 2026: SHOCHU NEW WAVE,' at 24PILLARS in Kanayama, Nagoya, on Sunday, June 7, 2026, bringing together 13 unique shochu breweries primarily from Kyushu. This event is a special project, the first in the Japan Craft Spirits Holiday series to focus exclusively on shochu. Through the three previous 'Japan Craft Spirits Holiday' events, a culture of enjoying craft spirits has been cultivated in Nagoya. This time, the scope is expanded to shochu, aiming to broadcast new ways to enjoy shochu from Nagoya, the heart of Japan. By connecting Kyushu's shochu breweries with Nagoya's drinkers, the event aims to create a new wave of shochu, true to its name.
