Comfortable Even in Summer! 'Sagamiko Berry Garden' Offering 36 Varieties of Blueberry Picking Starts the 2026 Season on June 6th!

Located along the clear Doshi River in the mountainous area of Sagamihara City, 'Sagamiko Berry Garden' (operated by Sagamiko Farm Co., Ltd.) is an experiential farm where you can enjoy picking 36 varieties of blueberries. Since its full-scale opening in 2023, the farm has been bustling with families, groups, and organizations from the Kanto region, ranging from 1 to 99 years old. This year, blueberry picking will finally begin on June 6th (Saturday). The farm's selling points include 1,100 blueberry bushes of 36 varieties and the use of 'solar sharing,' where power generation and agriculture take place simultaneously on the same land, allowing visitors to stay comfortable in the shade of solar panels even during the hot summer. The farm also offers experiential programs such as 'honey & lemon' flavored shaved ice made with farm-grown ingredients and original tart making. Families with small children and pets are welcome, and the farm is easily accessible, just 15 minutes from the Sagamihara IC on the Ken-O Expressway. It operates on a complete reservation basis on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
