[Community Contribution Activities] Underwriting of SDGs Private Placement Bonds "Community Support Type" (Chugoku Dengyosha Co., Ltd.)

Our bank supports companies contributing to the local community through the issuance of private placement bonds.

On June 30 (Tue), we acted as underwriter and financial agent for Chugoku Dengyosha Co., Ltd.'s "SDGs Private Placement Bonds "Community Support Type"*," and used a portion of the fees to jointly donate a laser marker for indoor and outdoor use to Okayama Prefectural Kurashiki Technical High School with the company.

A type of private placement bond where a portion of the fees received from the issuing company related to SDGs is used to purchase equipment, etc., which is then jointly donated by the bank and the issuing company to a designated SDG-related recipient.

Currently, we continue to contribute to society by playing a role in supporting the comfortable lives of everyone, from general electrical work to public transportation-related construction.

We have decided to donate a "laser marker for indoor and outdoor use" to Okayama Prefectural Kurashiki Technical High School and held a donation ceremony on the same day as the issue date. As it is a local school with an electrical engineering department, we selected the school as the recipient with the desire to support students aiming for the same dream. We hope this donation will contribute to the further development of the school in the future.
