KOTARO NUKAGA (Tennoz) will present 'Flowers of Memory,' a solo exhibition by NY-based artist Nir Hod, from July 4 to August 8, 2026. The exhibition debuts the new series, '100 Years Is Not Enough,' which blends mirror surfaces with oil painting.

Inspired by the artist's time in nature during the pandemic, the series explores themes of memory where beauty and decay coexist. By reflecting the viewer through the mirror surface, the artworks move beyond mere landscape representation, offering a unique artistic experience.

The creation process involves traditional oil techniques layered with chrome, subjected to repeated chemical reactions (using acid and ammonia) and intentional surface removal or 'destruction,' resulting in a complex depth of light and color.

Nir Hod has built an international reputation through exhibitions at institutions such as the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and commissions for luxury brands.

Exhibition Details: - Dates: July 4, 2026 (Sat) – August 8, 2026 (Sat) - Venue: KOTARO NUKAGA (Tennoz) - Hours: 11:30 – 18:00 (Tue – Sat)
