Creating "Town Scenery" with a Local Brewery: Rooftop "FUTAKO BEER TERRACE" to Open in Futako-Tamagawa from April 27

Futako Mugimugi Kosha Co., Ltd. (located in Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku; CEO: Naoko Ichihara) will open a limited-time beer terrace, "FUTAKO BEER TERRACE," starting Monday, April 27, 2026, at the rooftop terrace "PARK & TERRACE OSOTO" on the 7th floor of the Tamagawa Takashimaya S・C South Building.

This project is more than just a place to serve beer; it is an initiative to create a "scene of daily life in the town" where local people can drop by and share the same time and atmosphere.

Following the popularity of last year's inaugural event, this year's terrace will start about a month earlier.

The venue is a rooftop terrace overlooking the Tama River. In an open space where a pleasant breeze blows through, guests can enjoy craft beer and food, as well as "Mugi-chan's Shaved Ice."

The shaved ice, made with Onoda's "Ultra Pure Ice" and finished with homemade sauces, is a product that is as particular about ingredients as their beer brewing process.

For the beers, a carefully selected range of taps will be available daily. These can be enjoyed alongside food menus that go well with beer, such as hot dogs, bone-in sausages, and zeppoline.

- Five types of beer are strictly selected each day from standard and limited editions. - Shaved ice can also be topped with beer. - Strawberry & Berry Milk flavor is available.

Additionally, art works themed on "Summer and Ice" will be displayed in the space. Works created for this project by Mio Kuroiwa, design advisor for Futako Beer, and Sosaku Masuda, an art director living in Futako-Tamagawa, will add depth to the time spent on the rooftop terrace. Dropping by between shopping, after work, or during a walk—within that time which is an extension of daily life, we will create a new scene on this rooftop again this year as a place where people can connect gently.
