Yasashii Business Lab Co., Ltd. (CEO: Kōichi Nakagawa) and Hito to Shite no Utsuwa Co., Ltd. (CEO: Takuya Hanyū) will jointly launch the 'Management Practice Program — Mastering Skills, Refining Capacity' in October 2026. This program is designed for corporate managers, aiming to cultivate both management theory and practical skills ('technique') and human leadership capacity ('mind') through on-the-job practice ('action') over a six-month period.

Prior to the launch, a free YouTube live session will be streamed on Friday, July 24, to introduce the program's philosophy.

Background

Managers often find themselves torn between 'delivering results' and 'developing people.' Even after acquiring skills and knowledge, workplace challenges persist, and more situations now demand not just 'what to do' but 'who to be.'

Meanwhile, existing management training programs tend to focus heavily on theoretical and skill-based learning, with few directly addressing 'how one should be as a human being' or 'personal capacity.'

This program bridges that gap by integrating insights from business administration and research on 'human capacity.'

Key Features of the Program

1. Business Administration × Science of 'Capacity' — A unique program design combining management theory by business scholar Kōichi Nakagawa with 'capacity theory,' diagnostics, and dialogue methods developed from research on 'human capacity'—an approach only possible through collaboration between these two companies.

2. Mind, Technique, and Action Are Inseparable — Rather than treating 'mind (capacity),' 'technique (management),' and 'action (on-site practice)' as separate elements, each session integrates learning theory with immediate workplace application, holistically developing all three over six months.

3. Visualizing Growth — Participants assess their starting point through a capacity diagnostic and articulate their transformation at a final presentation event. The program consists of 8 sessions over approximately six months, delivered as a company-specific cohort (10–20 participants from multiple departments within one organization).
