Eye Care LaBo, operated by Eye Care LaBo Co., Ltd. (CEO: Mizuki Kashimura), has opened three new clinics in Sendai (Miyagi Prefecture), Toyota (Aichi Prefecture), and Matsudo (Chiba Prefecture). This marks the first time the company has opened locations simultaneously in three distinct regions—Tohoku, Chubu, and the Greater Tokyo Area—bringing the total network to 50 clinics nationwide. The company aims to establish 'visual conditioning' as a new daily habit for maintaining eye health.
Symptoms like heavy eyes or blurred vision are often overlooked in daily life. Since opening its Yoyogi flagship store in 2022, Eye Care LaBo has addressed these daily eye fatigue issues. Over the past three and a half years, interest in regular eye maintenance has grown, leading to the expansion of its 50-store network. The new locations were selected for their accessibility, allowing customers to incorporate eye care into their daily commutes or shopping routines.
The treatment is based on the 'Movement Release' method, developed by CEO Mizuki Kashimura at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine, focusing on the muscles around the eyes and neck. Before and after the session, an 'Eye Check' is performed to visualize the condition of the eyes, providing care that goes beyond subjective feelings. The initial session is 8,000 yen (tax included), with subsequent visits supported by ticket books or subscription plans.
