PH7+ and Japanese Painter Ayumu Matsuoka to Host 'LIFE and CREATION' Exhibition at Shizuoka Isetan Starting June 10th

PH7+ [Piacasette], a shoe brand located in Shizuoka Isetan Corridor 2, will host an exhibition and sale titled [PH7+ meets AYUMU MATSUOKA | LIFE and CREATION] by Japanese painter Ayumu Matsuoka from June 10 (Wed) to June 22 (Mon), 2026.

Under the theme of 'craftsmanship that breathes life,' this exhibition features a dialogue between the creativity of PH7+ and the artistic vision of Ayumu Matsuoka. The exhibition will debut a new series of works inspired by giant salamanders and ocean sunfish, created specifically for this event.

Ayumu Matsuoka has built a unique worldview by blending traditional Japanese painting techniques with modern sensibilities. Similarly, PH7+ has pursued unconventional aesthetic beauty while maintaining high-quality Japanese craftsmanship. The resonance between these two creators from different fields will create a new 'Japanese Mode' space. By encountering art in a retail setting, the exhibition offers an experience distinct from traditional museums or galleries.

A reception party will be held on the opening day, June 10 (Wed), and is open to the public. Ayumu Matsuoka will be present to share his thoughts on the creative process and the exhibition concept.
