Record Sales and Profits Achieved, Strengthening Growth Foundation
Trends in Sales and Operating Income
For the fiscal year ending May 2026, both the renovation business segment and the solutions business segment showed significant growth, achieving record-high performance.
In the renovation business segment, sales increased 28.7% year-on-year, driven by rising sales prices of Renovex condominiums. The solutions business segment also grew by 36.0% year-on-year, fueled by expanded sales of single-building income properties and growth in partner joint ventures.
Driven by growth in both segments, consolidated sales rose 30.5% year-on-year to ¥58.471 billion, operating profit increased 26.7% to ¥3.023 billion, and ordinary profit rose 8.3% to ¥2.346 billion, setting new records for both sales and profits.
In December 2025, the company transitioned to a pure holding company structure, enhancing group governance and improving management agility. By revitalizing operating subsidiaries and establishing an execution framework for growth strategies, the company is strengthening its management foundation to achieve the goals of the 'Renovation Forward 31' medium-term plan.
Transition to an Era Where Resale Condominiums Are Mainstream: Market Structure Shift Underway
May 2026 Fiscal Period Earnings Presentation
In the Greater Tokyo Area, the resale condominium market continues to grow faster than the new construction market.
The number of resale condominium transactions has exceeded new construction supply units every year for the past decade since surpassing it in 2016. In 2025, resale condominium transactions reached 49,114 units, compared to 21,962 new construction units supplied.
Rising prices and reduced supply of new condominiums have shifted homebuyers’ preferences from new to resale units, and the gap in market size between resale and new construction is expected to widen further in the future.
This structural market shift is irreversible, and our group views it as a significant business opportunity to enhance the value of existing housing through renovation.
Growth Strategy Under the Medium-Term Plan 'Renovation Forward 31'
May 2026 Fiscal Period Earnings Presentation
Our group is advancing the medium-term management plan 'Renovation Forward 31,' with 2031 as the target fiscal year. The plan aims to achieve ¥80 billion in sales, ¥3.5 billion in ordinary profit, and an ROE of 11.2% by the fiscal year ending May 2031.
Positioning the record-breaking performance of the May 2026 fiscal period as a new starting point for growth, we will fully launch initiatives based on the 'Renovation Forward 31' plan from the May 2027 fiscal period onward. Leveraging the expanding resale housing market, we aim to achieve sustainable growth and enhance corporate value.
Three Key Themes Supporting the Medium-Term Plan
May 2026 Fiscal Period Earnings Presentation
Amid a major shift in the market environment, Intellex Holdings will accelerate growth across the group by focusing on the following three key themes:
1. Human Capital
Our group positions talent development as one of the most critical strategic challenges for growth. We will continuously strengthen recruitment and development, particularly of young talent who will drive future growth. To address labor shortages in construction, we will enhance collaboration with construction firms and consider M&A as part of our structural development.
2. Technology
We will promote digital transformation (DX) in real estate distribution and enhance data utilization across procurement to sales processes to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Additionally, through technological development such as energy-efficient renovations, we will contribute to enhancing the value of the housing stock and reducing environmental impact.
3. Finance
Through collaboration with external partners, we will develop financial schemes tailored to renovated condominiums. Furthermore, by strengthening balance sheet management through expanded utilization of income-generating properties and liquidity schemes, we will accelerate cash generation to fund growth investments, enabling sustainable business expansion.
President and CEO Seiji Shunsai's Comment
"The arrival of an era where the resale housing market becomes mainstream represents a major growth opportunity for our group. At the same time, modern society faces challenges such as labor shortages, environmental issues, and financial instability, making the future increasingly unpredictable.
Our group will not only renovate and circulate homes but also address social challenges through initiatives such as strengthening construction systems, promoting energy-efficient renovations, and providing new value by integrating real estate and finance.
Through the strengthened management foundation enabled by our holding company structure and the advancement of the 'Renovation Forward 31' medium-term plan, we will accelerate our initiatives in 'Human Capital,' 'Technology,' and 'Finance.' By 2031, we aim to become an indispensable 'renovation infrastructure' company in society and people’s lives, contributing to sustainable market development and enhanced corporate value."
