Infcurion Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koki Maruyama, hereinafter 'Infcurion') and DCP Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President, CEO & COO: Keio Hirako, hereinafter 'DCP') announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding joint exploration for the social implementation of new financial services utilizing tokenized deposits.

As 'agentive commerce'—where AI agents autonomously conduct economic activities and payments—becomes increasingly tangible, particularly overseas, both companies aim to achieve the real-world implementation of on-chain financial infrastructure by connecting and integrating payment platforms such as 'Xard' and 'Axios' with the tokenized deposit 'DCJPY'. Initial efforts will focus on three specific areas: card payments, public subsidies (e.g., from municipalities), and purpose-specific savings.

1. Background of the MOU

Rapid advancements in AI technology have led to the emergence of 'agentive commerce,' where AI agents autonomously execute economic activities and payments, particularly in overseas markets. This marks a pivotal transformation in the payment landscape. Infcurion released a white paper on agentive commerce titled 'AI × Digital Currency: The Dawn of a New Shopping Era' (Note 1) on June 22, 2026, highlighting the opportunities and risks businesses face amid this shift, as well as the need for cross-industry preparedness.

As these next-generation economic activities are expected to coexist with traditional commerce, future payment infrastructure must seamlessly integrate cutting-edge digital currencies with existing systems. It is essential that Infcurion’s payment platforms—such as the next-generation card issuance platform 'Xard (Exard)' and the next-generation fully cloud-based acquiring platform 'Axios (Axios)'—can connect seamlessly with advanced digital currencies to enable such an environment.

Infcurion, which has been driving the social implementation of embedded finance, and DCP, which is building a platform for tokenized deposits (digital currency DCJPY), have now signed an MOU to jointly promote the adoption and utilization of on-chain financial infrastructure (Note 2) that can support future autonomous payments. By combining their respective strengths, the companies aim to explore the integration of DCJPY with platforms like 'Xard' and 'Axios'.

2. Key Areas of Joint Exploration

Under the MOU, the two companies will explore the following initiatives.

※ The diagrams below illustrate conceptual visions of the joint exploration.

① On-Chain Transformation of Card Business via Integration of Tokenized Deposit DCJPY with 'Xard' and 'Axios'

The companies aim to embed Infcurion’s 'Xard' into the DCJPY platform, enabling cardholders to pay their card bills using DCJPY. This would allow card members greater flexibility in payment, such as setting their own repayment dates. For merchants, if they adopt Infcurion’s 'Axios' and hold a DCJPY account, sales revenue could be automatically and instantly deposited into their accounts, improving cash flow.

For financial institutions, introducing debit cards typically involves significant changes to core banking systems, posing a high barrier. By adopting the DCJPY system, institutions could also issue debit cards via 'Xard' as a secondary benefit. Additionally, the companies will explore a multi-bank credit/debit system that enables automatic and efficient fund transfers from multiple bank accounts.

② Settlement Using Subsidies and Grants Received in DCJPY

The companies aim to add a payment function using DCJPY-received grants to 'Anywhere,' a merchant payment solution provided by Link Processing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Infcurion. Many government subsidies and grants—such as childcare support allowances or welfare taxi vouchers—have restricted usage or target groups, or rely on paper-based or physical processes, leaving room for efficiency improvements through digital transformation (DX).

Leveraging the strengths of the Infcurion Group, which provides payment infrastructure like 'Anywhere,' and DCP, which has experience in pilot programs for purpose-restricted municipal grants, the companies will explore ways to improve subsidy programs using on-chain financial infrastructure. The goal is to reduce user burden and promote intended usage by residents, aligning with administrative objectives.

③ Automation of Savings and Payments for Purpose-Specific Savings

The companies aim to integrate tokenized deposit functionality into 'finbee (Finbee),' a goal-based automated savings app provided by Nest Egg Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Infcurion. The 'Save Now Pay Later' (SNPL) behavior—saving now to buy later—is gaining popularity. By adding tokenized deposit-based savings and automated payment features to 'finbee,' a service that supports SNPL, the companies aim to automate the entire process from goal-based saving to purchase payments, supporting users’ planned consumption.

Additionally, they will explore integrating DCJPY-based savings and payment functions into corporate apps and services, enabling seamless transitions from saving for a product to making the final payment, thereby enhancing user experience.

Going forward, Infcurion and DCP will steadily advance the above initiatives under this MOU and work together to develop and promote on-chain financial infrastructure necessary for the emerging 'agentive commerce' era, including exploring additional use cases.
