This event is held with the goal of creating new connections between local communities, businesses, and Vietnam in Chiba Prefecture, which ranks sixth nationwide in the number of Vietnamese residents. Last year's two-day event attracted a total of 60,000 visitors, serving as a vibrant platform for interaction between Japanese attendees and the Vietnamese community in Japan.

The second edition this year will be held under the theme "Water Connecting Two Cultures." Through diverse content unique to a Vietnamese festival—such as live stages, traditional cultural experiences, and authentic cuisine—the event aims to foster new exchanges and mutual understanding between Japan and Vietnam.

Popular Vietnamese Artist LyLy Confirmed to Perform

LyLy is active not only as a singer but also as a songwriter, having produced numerous hit songs beloved by Vietnam's youth, including "Anh nhà ở đâu thế," "Đen đá không đường," and "Sao anh chưa về nhà."

Additionally, she appeared in the 2025 music reality show "Em Xinh Say Hi." Produced as the female counterpart to the hit series "Anh Trai Say Hi," the show attracted significant attention with the participation of 30 of Vietnam's top young female artists.

"Em Xinh Say Hi" is more than just an audition program; it is a large-scale music project that garnered high attention for discovering the next generation of female artists through singing, dancing, and songwriting, becoming one of the flagship contents representing Vietnam's music scene.

At this year's "Xin Chao! Funabashi Vietnam Fes 2026," LyLy will deliver a special live performance, offering a rare opportunity to experience Vietnam's latest music culture in Japan.
