[Synopsis] Namida, nicknamed "Namida," drifts to Kabukicho in search of a place to belong. She seems to be searching for the last day of her own life.

This depicts Namida's encounters in Kabukicho. Adults who try to use her. Young men and women her age who try to befriend her. And her older sister, who is looking for Namida.

Namida searches for her place in the city. It's a painfully poignant story.

[Work Overview] Directed by Kentaro Kudo, who is 84 years old, an active actor, and the original author of this work. (The short drama edition is directed by Kenichi Aikawa.) A hard-boiled film where the passionate detective Ryuji Kurashima solves incidents that occur in Shinjuku Kabukicho.

~A Message from Film Director Kentaro Kudo~ Many people were moved by hard-boiled films depicting the loneliness and aesthetics of men. However, that culture is now disappearing. Still... "I don't want it to end yet." An 84-year-old actor is trying to prove, with his life, that "people can challenge themselves at any age."

[Director] Kenichi Aikawa Became independent in 2007. Since digital SLR cameras were equipped with video functions, he has been involved in the production of short films and music PVs. He handles a wide variety of filming, including films, PVs, MVs, TV commercials, documentaries, and corporate VPs. He also works as a lecturer for technical seminars for young creators and at vocational schools for visual arts.
