Our Employees Participate in the Selection Committee for IPA's "Top 10 Information Security Threats 2026"

AP Communications Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takeshi Uchida; hereinafter "the Company") announces that three of its employees, Yasuhiro Yamane, Kengo Kishigami, and Taishin Yanagida, from the company's zero-trust business "0-WAN," participated in the selection committee for the IPA's (Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan*) "Top 10 Information Security Threats 2026." The Company has participated for four consecutive years since 2023.

0-WAN is a business launched in response to the growing importance of zero trust due to the increase in cyberspace threats and the spread of remote work. There has been an increase in consultations from companies facing challenges in responding to the increasingly complex cyberattacks in recent years.

About the "Top 10 Information Security Threats 2026"

The IPA publishes the "Top 10 Information Security Threats" in the hope that it will help promote security measures. The "Top 10 Information Security Threats 2026" are determined through deliberation and voting by the "Top 10 Threats Selection Committee," which consists of about 250 members including researchers in the information security field and corporate practitioners. The IPA selects threat candidates based on the security incidents and attacks that had a significant social impact in 2025.
