AP Communications Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takeshi Uchida; hereinafter "the Company") announces that three of its employees from the zero-trust business "0-WAN"—Yasuhiro Yamane, Kengo Kishigami, and Taishin Yanagida—participated in the selection committee for the "Top 10 Information Security Threats 2026" organized by the IPA (Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan*). This is the fourth consecutive year the Company has participated, starting from 2023.

The 0-WAN business was launched in response to the growing importance of zero-trust due to increasing threats in cyberspace and the proliferation of remote work. There has been a rise in consultations from companies facing challenges in dealing with increasingly complex cyberattacks in recent years.

About the "Top 10 Information Security Threats 2026"

The IPA publishes the "Top 10 Information Security Threats" with the hope that it will contribute to the popularization of security measures. The "Top 10 Information Security Threats 2026" are determined after the IPA selects threat candidates based on socially impactful information security incidents and attacks that occurred in 2025. This is followed by deliberation and voting by the "Top 10 Threats Selection Committee," which is composed of approximately 250 members, including researchers in the information security field and practitioners from various companies.
