During the visit, former Prime Minister Kishida toured demonstration facilities for “QHe (Quantum Hydrogen Energy),” a next-generation energy technology utilizing solid state fusion. He also attentively listened to explanations on the principles and mechanisms of solid state fusion provided by Professor Emeritus Jirota Kasagi of Tohoku University and Professor Emeritus Hiroshi Toki of Osaka University.

Following the visit, former Prime Minister Kishida shared the following remarks:
