Sapporo Grand Hotel (Chuo-ku, Sapporo; General Manager: Takanori Nagase), operated by Granvista Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yukio Arai), will renew and begin sales of the 'Japanese Afternoon Tea Set' at Garden Dining Waraku starting Friday, May 1, 2026.

Garden Dining Waraku (Main Building, 4th Floor) is a Japanese restaurant where guests can enjoy meals while overlooking a seasonal rooftop Japanese garden. The 'Japanese Afternoon Tea Set' has been renewed with a new presentation in a three-tier wooden box. We have prepared a menu where guests can enjoy seasonally changing savory dishes (Tenjin) and sweets together with Japanese tea. The wooden box is filled with various sweets, including Waraku's popular Anmitsu, sesame dumplings, Wasanbon pudding, matcha terrine, milk agar, and bracken starch dumplings (warabi mochi). For savory dishes, we offer three types of Temari sushi and two seasonal small bowls. For Japanese tea, we provide premium 'Tsuyuhikari' and 'Kuki Hojicha' from the tea master Yabuen.

Enjoy the slow-passing time while gazing at the early summer Japanese garden. It is also recommended as a late lunch.

Sapporo Grand Hotel opened in 1934 as Hokkaido's first authentic Western-style hotel, inspired by the late Prince Chichibu, serving as a reception room for political and business circles and a social hub for citizens. We will continue to strive toward being a hotel loved across generations and providing a richer time for everyone.
