Grid Inc. (President and CEO: Sogaura KAN, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter 'Grid') has implemented a function update for the generative AI 'GeNom for Energy' for the energy industry on June 15, 2026.

'GeNom for Energy' is a generative AI specialized in the energy industry that provides answers and supporting documents based on publicly available information about Japan's energy regulations in response to natural language questions. Since its launch in January 2026, feedback from trial users has been used to improve response speed, display experience, search and answer functions, and operability.

Main update contents ・Added Quick Mode A 'Quick Mode' that prioritizes speed in response generation has been newly added. It can be used for initial confirmation and overview of regulatory investigations in a short time. ・Supported streaming display The content during response generation is displayed in real-time in stages. You can wait while confirming the generation process, which also leads to a subjective shortening of the waiting time until the final result. ・Improved search and answer functions Attribute information of council materials and legal system materials has been organized to prioritize reference to highly reliable information. When there is no material that completely matches the question content, related information is presented, and a warning is displayed when there is a possibility of low accuracy. In addition, functions such as history search, which allows searching past chats by keyword, copying input prompts and output results with one click, and preset registration, which allows saving narrowing conditions for frequently used data sources, have been improved to support daily investigation work.

Grid will continue to support the efficiency of investigation work related to energy regulations and compliance through the improvement of 'GeNom for Energy' functions.
