A Summer Day Combining "Fireworks, Music, Food, and Experiential Content" in Nature! "Takino Hanabi 2026" to be Held on Saturday, June 20!

"Takino Hanabi 2026" is an outdoor entertainment event held at the government-operated Takino Suzuran Hillside Park in the suburbs of Sapporo, themed around "Fireworks, Music, Food, and Experiential Content." Visitors can enjoy the event throughout the day in the midst of Hokkaido's nature.

This year, new content has been added to appeal to both children and adults, including firework making workshops, the Hokkaido Meat Festival, a kids' dance contest, DJ experiences, street performances, and a sticker exchange.

Rare, domestically-produced handheld fireworks from "Tsutsui Tokimasa Toy Fireworks Manufacturing" in Fukuoka Prefecture will be sold at the venue. Special areas are also available where you can enjoy the fireworks you have purchased on-site. The ability to experience fireworks personally, rather than just watching them, is one of the key attractions of "Takino Hanabi."

Spectacular Fireworks Show Set in "Takino Suzuran Hillside Park," surrounded by 400 hectares of nature, the show features a non-stop 30-minute fireworks display synchronized with music. This year, a variety of viewing styles are available, including special tickets for camping overnight after the show, areas where you can enjoy BBQ while watching, and areas where you can experience the powerful fireworks up close.

Various Experiential Content From the opening at 14:00 until the fireworks launch at 19:45, various experiential content will be available throughout the venue. Note that "Takino Suzuran Hillside Park" will be open as usual, with park facilities available until 18:00.
