Konami Arcade Games Co., Ltd. announces the unlocking of the new chapter "~Chapter 5~ Melody of Ice Tragedy" in the video card game for amusement facilities, "Monster Retsuden Oreca Battle 2", on Wednesday, April 15.
"Monster Retsuden Oreca Battle 2" is a video card game sequel to "Monster Retsuden Oreca Battle" released in 2012. Players can enjoy collecting and raising unique monsters by battling with their original card "Oreca" containing their own player name created in-game.
In "~Chapter 5~ Melody of Ice Tragedy" (hereinafter Chapter 5), in addition to monsters from the previous title, over 30 unique new monsters will appear. These monsters not only appear in battles but can all be acquired as cards.
"Chapter 5" features the theme of "Ice and Song," introducing character-rich monsters associated with this theme, further enhancing the depth of the battles.
Furthermore, the three-piece rock band "Chevon," who made their major debut from avex "cutting edge" on Wednesday, April 8, has specially written the theme song for "Demon Emperor Mead," a crucial monster in "Chapter 5."
