Konami Arcade Games Announces 'Oreca Big Battle 2026', the First Official Tournament for 'Monster Retsuden Oreca Battle 2'!

Tournament Overview Konami Arcade Games has announced 'Oreca Big Battle 2026', an official nationwide tournament for the amusement arcade card game 'Monster Retsuden Oreca Battle 2', starting on Friday, May 22.

'Monster Retsuden Oreca Battle 2' is the sequel to the 2012 title, where players battle using their own customized 'Oreca' cards to collect and train monsters. 'Oreca Big Battle 2026' will be the largest tournament in the history of the franchise.

Divisions - Junior King Division (Middle school students and below) - Oreca King Division (Open to all ages)

Application Process Participants must clear the 'Entry Quest' in-game and apply via the designated website. Selected participants through a lottery process will be invited to participate in one of the five regional qualifiers.

- Entry Quest Period: May 22, 2026 (Fri) 10:00 to June 28, 2026 (Sun) 24:00 - Application Period: May 22, 2026 (Fri) 10:00 to June 29, 2026 (Mon) 12:00

Regional Qualifiers The qualifiers will be held in a 16-player tournament format across five areas:

- July 18 (Sat): Tohoku/Hokkaido (Mollyfantasy Yodobashi Sendai), Chubu (King Joy), Kyushu (Round 1 Fukuoka Tenjin) - July 25 (Sat): Kanto (GiGO Shinjuku West), Kansai (Round 1 Stadium Sennichimae)

All participants will receive an 'Oreca Card Holder' as a token of participation.

National Finals The finals will feature 8 players who advanced from the regional qualifiers, held in late August.

- Junior King Division: August 29, 2026 (Sat) - Oreca King Division: August 30, 2026 (Sun)

The winner will receive a trophy/certificate and have their winning team featured as an 'Oreca Command' playable in the game.
