SubGate Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will exhibit at "Maintenance & Resilience 2026," to be held from July 15 (Wed) to 17 (Fri), 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight. The company will showcase its next-generation wire rope safety diagnosis solution, "AIOTION WSS."
AIOTION WSS is a wire rope safety diagnosis solution developed by NKIA Co., Ltd. (NKIA) of South Korea. It integrates MFL (Magnetic Flux Leakage) technology, AI analysis, and cloud management to visualize abnormalities such as internal wire breaks and corrosion, which are difficult to detect through conventional visual inspections.
Many wire rope accidents are attributed to internal breaks and internal corrosion that cannot be detected from the exterior. However, on-site challenges include:
- No visible external abnormalities - Inability to directly inspect internal conditions - Inspection results dependent on experience and expert judgment
AIOTION WSS measures the internal condition of wire ropes through non-destructive testing and detects early signs of abnormalities through AI analysis, thereby achieving "visualization of unseen internal defects through data."
Furthermore, with the concept of "from rule-dependent safety to data-driven safety," it supports the evolution from conventional periodic inspections to Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) by integrating:
- Non-destructive testing (MFL technology) - AI analysis - Cloud management
At our booth, we will provide a live demonstration of AIOTION WSS, allowing visitors to see the entire process from detecting internal wire rope defects to AI analysis and cloud monitoring.
We will also present case studies for applications in:
- Manufacturing equipment - Port facilities - Construction equipment - Ropeway facilities
and will be available for Proof of Concept (PoC) and implementation consultations.
This exhibition marks the first major exhibition since the official sales launch of AIOTION WSS in Japan.
As the general agent in Japan, SubGate will provide product supply, cloud services, and maintenance support, promoting the advancement of wire rope safety management in Japan.
We will also actively pursue collaborations with sales partners, implementation partners, and PoC cooperation companies to expand the adoption of the product in the Japanese market.
