Sunshine Aquarium will hold an event to blow away the summer heat!

In "Sea Lion Splashdown Operation!" which uses a large amount of water, the amount of water and the performance will be upgraded and you will get soaked as the temperature rises, such as on "heatwave days" of 35°C or higher and "extreme heat days" of 40°C or higher!

We will also hold many events featuring seasonal creatures that are at their best in summer, as well as events that can be enjoyed only in the "early morning".

A nighttime-exclusive collaboration event will be held with the original feature-length animated film "Super Kaguya-hime!", which has been a major topic of conversation on social media.

We will deliver a special immersive experience that can be enjoyed on summer nights, combining the fantastical world inspired by the virtual space "Tsukuyomi" that appears in the film with the charm of light, sound, and creatures unique to the aquarium at night.

Sunshine Aquarium Special Exhibition "Zannen na Ikimono Ten 3"

This is the third collaboration exhibition with the "Zannen na Ikimono Jiten" (Dictionary of Regrettable Creatures) book series, which introduces "creatures that are trying their best but are somehow regrettable".

Approximately 25 types of creatures, carefully selected from volumes 1 to 10 of the books produced so far, and "regrettable creatures" newly drawn for this special exhibition, will gather.

In addition, the "Zannen na Ikimono Ten General Election at Sunshine Aquarium" is also being held until Sunday, August 23.

Please vote for your "favorite regrettable creature" from the creatures in the venue.

Enjoy the ecology of these unique creatures, who are "regrettable but lovable," with exhibits unique to Sunshine Aquarium.

Tenbo Park's Summer Scenery

An event to comfortably enjoy the "Japanese summer" without worrying about the weather or heat. A "sky resort" decorated with about 550 sunflowers, cool wind chimes, and pinwheels appears!

In the Tenbo Hill area, a photo spot surrounded by sunflowers in 360 degrees, as if you've wandered into a sunflower field, and a spot with about 200 wind chimes and pinwheels will debut for the first time.

On specific dates, we will also hold "Original Wind Chime Making" and "Sunflower Seed Sowing Experience" which are perfect for free research.

You can view the full moons of July and August through telescopes installed within the facility.

The Tenbo Park CAFE will also sell alcoholic beverages, including original Tenbo Park menus, to enhance your enjoyment of summer nights.

Additionally, on July 28 (Tue) and 29 (Wed), a workshop will be held for elementary school students to learn about the mechanism of astronomical telescopes and assemble them using educational astronomical telescope kits.
