AmaiWana's New Song! Theme Song for tvk's New Music Program 'Katamari' Now Streaming!

The new music program 'Katamari' on tvk, which began broadcasting in April 2026.

AmaiWana, who has experience performing live in Taiwan and India in addition to their first US tour, serves as the program's MC.

AmaiWana's latest song, 'Mikansei no Heya' (Unfinished Room), written as the program's opening theme, was released on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

The song's concept is a fictional toy factory operating within a dream. From this factory emerge lovable 'Katamari' of various shapes. The story, captured in exciting sounds, tells of clumsy 'Katamari' who fall in love without caring about others' opinions and live life at their own rhythm, stumbling and dancing along the way.

This new work links to the program's concept of 'defective products produced in a factory = Katamari,' pop-culturally depicting the beauty and individuality of unfinished beings. Ginger Root participated as the sound engineer. The sound production, inspired by a 'dream factory' operating at night, fuses 80s new wave and 90s Shibuya-kei sounds with a modern synth-pop sensibility, featuring lyrics that convey the message 'being different and unfinished is also cool.'
