System Origin (Headquarters: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture; President: Tomoyuki Unno) is launching a full-scale initiative to support shared operations for taxi dispatch and back-office tasks in the Seishin transportation area.
In recent years, taxi operators have been facing various challenges, including staff shortages, a lack of dispatch operators, rising costs for maintaining dispatch rooms, and the need to support app-based dispatch. Through its support for shared operational centers in the Hamamatsu area of Shizuoka Prefecture, the company has been developing a system where regional operators lead the effort to support local transportation.
Dispatch operations experience significant fluctuations in demand based on time of day, making it a heavy burden for operators to secure sufficient personnel for peak hours. In this new initiative in Shizuoka, the company will leverage its accumulated operational expertise to combine dispatch tasks with data entry, administrative support, and kitting services. This aims to effectively utilize idle time, improve overall operator productivity, and reduce costs. The company supports management by providing the systems and information necessary for the operators' sales and management strategies. As a supporter of the "place-making" that sustains regional transportation, the company is committed to building a sustainable regional transport infrastructure.
Additionally, the company participates in the "Traffic Gap" Resolution and Public-Private Partnership Platform promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Moving forward, it will continue to actively support initiatives aimed at maintaining regional transportation, such as "promoting cooperation and collaboration" and "cultivating mobility human resources and organizations."
