Newly Launched Industry's Thinnest Level Compressor-Type Refrigerator "ZR-30V"

Z-Max Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Junji Takai), a company that manufactures, imports, and sells refrigerators, will launch the "ZR-30V" on June 17, 2026. This new product is a refrigerator for hotel rooms and represents the smallest and thinnest size among the compressor-type refrigerators handled by the company. While achieving the industry's thinnest level of external dimensions for a compressor-type refrigerator, the interior with an effective capacity of 28L can store 2-liter PET bottles. It also comes standard with an ice-making compartment, combining the functionality required for a hotel room refrigerator. Following the small Peltier-type refrigerator "ZER-12" launched in 2024 and the "ZR-48V" launched in 2025 (the company's first refrigerator adopting an inverter compressor), the "ZR-30V" enriches the lineup as the third new model for hotels. This aims to respond to the wide range of needs in the hotel and ryokan industry, where capital investment is progressing against the backdrop of expanding inbound tourism (foreign visitors to Japan).

By adopting an inverter-type compressor, the new product "ZR-30V" suppresses annual power consumption and enables savings on electricity bills. In addition, the noise level is approximately 18dB, making it even quieter than conventional products. This quietness is a key feature that does not disturb sleep, even in urban business hotels.

The external dimensions are 420mm in width, 395mm in depth, and 495mm in height, making it the industry's thinnest level for a compressor-type refrigerator. This size is optimal for hotel rooms with space constraints for furniture and for renovation projects.

The standard color is black, with white available built-to-order.

The "ZR-30V" has an open price, with a reference market price of 37,400 JPY (tax included). The sales target for fiscal 2027 is 3,000 units.

To balance economical pricing and high quality, Z-Max's refrigerators are manufactured at overseas production bases where the company's engineers take responsibility for quality control at every stage of design, development, and manufacturing based on Japanese standards. In addition, deploying a local inspection system ensures reliability that passes in the Japanese market.

Keeping in mind the demand from the hotel and ryokan industry, where robust capital investment is advancing due to the expansion of inbound tourism, the company plans to continue strengthening its lineup of small refrigerators that minutely respond to diversifying needs.
