"PSO2 New Genesis ver.2" Adds Rank.3 to Urgent Quest "Mark of Starfall"!

SEGA Corporation announced that on July 8, 2026 (Wed.), they implemented an update for "PSO2 New Genesis ver.2" (hereafter, NGS ver.2), which is currently enjoying widespread service. This update includes the addition of Rank.3 to the urgent quest "Mark of Starfall."

New High-Difficulty Quest Appears

Rank.3 has been added to the urgent quest "Mark of Starfall."

In this quest, "Solas Crypt" newly appears, replacing "Dark Falz, Solas." This is an ultra-high-difficulty quest that will toy with players using unique and varied attacks, such as gimmick attacks that patrol the field and phantom attacks.

As with previous urgent quests, up to 4 players can participate, and the quest will fail if a certain number of incapacitations occur.

This quest can be accepted any number of times from the "Teleporter" located in the southwestern part of Central Retem. We encourage you to prepare with the best possible equipment and aim for clear by challenging it repeatedly.

Along with the addition of the new quest, title tasks will be added, and weekly tasks will be updated. Achieve these tasks to earn titles and "N-Master Cubes," among other rewards.

New Equipment and Special Abilities Added

The new ★15 rarity weapon series "Kaize" will be introduced.

The "Kaize" series possesses a potential ability that increases damage resistance each time a condition is met. Furthermore, by fulfilling all three conditions, players can gain an effect that increases critical hit rate and critical hit damage.

In addition, new special abilities, "C/Petadriel" and "C/Rifadriel," will be added.

"C/Petadriel" can be created using "Special Ability Capsules" in the Item Lab's enhancement material exchange. "C/Rifadriel" and "C/Teradriel" are required as exchange materials.

The "Kaize" series and "C/Rifadriel" can be obtained not only from the urgent quest "Mark of Starfall Rank.3" but also in future updates.

Mission Pass Vol. 58 "NGS Season58" Arrives!

"NGS Season58," the 58th installment of the Mission Pass, where you can obtain luxurious rewards, is here.

By clearing tasks and earning "Stars," your "Tier" (level) will increase as you collect a certain number of stars, allowing you to receive rewards corresponding to your tier.

In addition to stamps and featured accessories, valuable items such as "My Shop Permit (3 Days)" and "SG Scratch Prize Exchange Ticket" are also included, continuing from the previous season.

Furthermore, this season you can obtain the armor accessories "Vader Arm" and "Vader Legs" that appeared in "Phantasy Star Online 2," as well as the new accessory "Metal Fang Mask." Additionally, "Mag Form/Rereinyan," the NGS version of "Reinyan" from "Phantasy Star Online 2," will appear, so be sure to get them!

※ "Tier" is a numerical value representing progress in the Mission Pass. By increasing this value, you can receive various rewards such as accessories and material items.

Revival AC Scratch "Accessory Revival Jul'26"

The Revival AC Scratch "Accessory Revival Jul'26" will be available. This scratch contains accessories that were previously distributed. Popular accessories such as "West Veil" and "Frill Maid Apron" will reappear.
