PSO2: New Genesis ver.2 Adds Limited-Time Quest 'Simulated Exercise: Ancient Ruins Purification Battle'!

SEGA Corporation has implemented an update for the popular service title 'PSO2: New Genesis ver.2' (hereinafter, NGS ver.2), adding the limited-time quest 'Simulated Exercise: Ancient Ruins Purification Battle' and other new content on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

Limited-Time Quest Launch

Distribution Period: From after maintenance completion on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, until maintenance begins on Wednesday, July 29, 2026

The limited-time quest 'Simulated Exercise: Ancient Ruins Purification Battle' is now available. This is a quest for up to 8 players, progressing into the depths of the newly discovered area 'Ruins'.

In this quest, trials such as 'Grim Monolith Purification' and 'Rui-no Shureida Λ', previously seen in 'Territory Survey: Ruins', will appear. Purify the corrupted Grim Monoliths appearing along the way as you aim to reach the deepest area.

Alongside the new quest, title tasks and limited-time tasks will also be added. Complete these tasks to earn titles, accessories such as the 'Chain Gauntlet' and 'Schwarznor Hair Accessory', and base wear items like 'Cavalnero T2 [Ba]' and 'Cavalnero T2-V2 [Ba]'.

Please note that Meseta Boost will not apply to 'Simulated Exercise: Ancient Ruins Purification Battle'.

Costume GET Campaign Updated

The limited-time tasks for the Costume GET Campaign, ongoing since Wednesday, July 1, have been updated, making new items obtainable. Clear limited-time quests and complete tasks to earn costumes and accessories.

Revival SG Scratch 'SG Support Item Select Jul'26'

The revival SG scratch 'SG Support Item Select Jul'26' brings back useful items that aid in preset enhancement.

New AC Scratch 'Stylish Summer '26'

A new AC scratch, 'Stylish Summer '26', is now available. Obtain stylish T-shirt wear items that celebrate summer, as well as sailor-themed costumes.

Enjoy summer with the lobby action 'Guitar Performance' and the motion change 'Singing with Guitar'.
