≒JOY is the third idol group produced by Rino Sashihara, following =LOVE and ≠ME. Their 4th single, "Denwa Bango Oshiete!" released this February, set a personal record with over 300,000 shipments, reaching a total of 338,000 to date. In March, they celebrated their 4th anniversary with a successful concert, "≒JOY 4th ANNIVERSARY PREMIUM CONCERT," at the Nippon Budokan.
Today, music videos for their two digital singles released in April, "Bokutachi no Uta" and "Nonfiction," were unveiled.
"Bokutachi no Uta," featuring Reon Ezumi as the center, is a hopeful song expressing gratitude and commitment to the future, solidifying the bond between the group and their fans. "Nonfiction," featuring Aimie Ozawa as the center and performed by a six-member unit including Jurii Aida, Aoi Onishi, Aimie Ozawa, Mai Takahashi, Riko Fujisawa, and Kyoka Yamada, is a youth love song capturing the direct yet frustrating feelings of young love.
The "Bokutachi no Uta" MV focuses on a self-homage theme, bridging the group's past and future as they transition into a new phase following their Budokan concert. It features a school setting and a powerful live performance scene involving many fans. The "Nonfiction" MV centers on Ozawa dressed as a manga-loving girl, featuring a narrative drama segment, lip-syncing scenes, and a grand dance performance in a field of rape blossoms.
≒JOY is scheduled to hold their first solo concert at K Arena Yokohama, titled "≒JOY SPECIAL SUMMER LIVE presented by BEAT AX," on Saturday, July 11, and has announced the release of their 5th single on Wednesday, August 5.
