What is Letra?

A brand dealing in Mexican雑貨, with Mercado bags as its main product, debuted in 2014.

Our buyers were fascinated by the energetic people and colorful cityscape of Mexico in the late 2000s and visited Mexico several times a year. There, they encountered Mercado bags. Sensing the potential of these lightweight and durable bags, they began importing and selling them in Japan.

From 2014 to the present, we have gradually expanded the recognition of Mercado bags within Japan. (Procurement volume comparison results / 2015: 1,200 units, 2024: 35,000 units)

Our mission is to allow customers to enjoy Mercado bags, and through our business, to contribute to the inheritance of traditional Mexican craftsmanship, vocational training in prisons, and the stabilization of the lives of Mercado bag artisans, thereby contributing to Social Good.

And the theme for the 2026 SS season is "TIMELESS."

We are working to create a sustainable production system, hoping that our craftsmanship will continue to be loved through the ages.
