SOREAD Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture / Representative Director: Yuri Satomi), which operates the kids' dress brand 'LilimNena' and the photo studio & dress salon 'Riria no Shiro' (Castle of Lilies) under the corporate philosophy of 'A society where everyone can be the protagonist of their own life,' exhibited at 'PHOTONEXT 2026,' a specialized exhibition for photography and photo business held on June 16 (Tue.) and 17 (Wed.), 2026, at Pacifico Yokohama Hall B. They unveiled an original new kimono collection inspired by the constellations of the night sky.

Background of Exhibition

In the market for Shichi-Go-San and commemorative photography, not only the quality of the photos themselves but also 'what kind of worldview can be captured' is increasingly emphasized as a factor in choosing a photo studio. On the other hand, the difficulty of differentiation due to multiple studios handling the same costumes is also cited as a challenge on the ground.

In response to these unique challenges faced by photo studios, we participated as part of a 'Kids Fashion Parade' in collaboration with multiple brands, not just LilimNena's costumes alone.

2026 New Kimono Collection 'Constellation Series'

This time, we unveiled new kimonos for Shichi-Go-San inspired by the constellations spread across the night sky. Constellation charts and celestial motifs are drawn across the entire fabric, and by layering deep navy and gold on a white base, we achieved a look that is both classical and modern.

This series offers color variations for 3, 5, and 7-year-olds, with different colors taking the lead for each age, making the designs easy for children to choose from. Since it allows for the expression of individual personalities by age within the same worldview, it also supports coordinated photoshoots for siblings.

In addition, we also exhibited the 'Unicorn Dress' collection, inspired by the sparkle of the night sky. Characterized by soft gradient colors and delicate radiance, the feature of this collection is the proposal of kimonos and dresses unified under the common theme of 'a beautiful night sky.'

Furthermore, we also introduced updates to our popular watercolor kimono series, such as renewing the hitoe (a type of kimono worn in summer or as an underlayer) for 3-year-olds.
