The Wakayama Keyaki Ohdori Illumination "Keyaki Light Parade by FeStA LuCe" (Organizer: Wakayama Keyaki Ohdori Illumination Executive Committee), produced by outdoor lighting manufacturer Takasho Digitech Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture, President: Ryosuke Furusawa), will be held again this year.

This fourth iteration aims to become the "World's Best" illumination street, surpassing "Japan's No. 1" (Note 1), with an expanded lighting area compared to last time, and will be held from November 21, 2026, to February 28, 2027.

This Keyaki Light Parade will further expand its area from the previous approximately 3km route connecting JR Wakayama Station to Wakayama Castle and then to Nankai Wakayamashi Station. An additional approximately 500m will be extended from in front of Wakayama City Hall to in front of the Wakayama Prefectural Government Building, west of Wakayama Castle, for a total of 3.5km, illuminating over 1.5 million light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on approximately 500 street trees. The Keyaki Light Parade is already Japan's largest street illumination, and this year's event aims for the world's best. The event will run for 100 days from November 21 (Sat) to February 28, 2027, with lighting hours from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The organizer, Wakayama Keyaki Ohdori Illumination Executive Committee, and Wakayama City signed a "Cooperation Agreement on Tourism Promotion Decorated with Light in Wakayama City" in July 2025, promoting sustainable tourism town development in conjunction with Wakayama City. With this approximately 500m extension, the number of street trees and LEDs will be scaled up from the previous 435 street trees and 1.3 million LEDs, with over 1.5 million LEDs to be lit on approximately 500 street trees. The light parade will connect JR Wakayama Station to Wakayama Castle, Wakayama Castle to Nankai Wakayamashi Station, and Wakayama Castle to Wakayama Prefectural Government Building, creating vibrancy from three directions.
