Double Standard Inc. The Immigration Services Agency of Japan began operating the "Specified Resident Cards, etc." and "Second-Generation Resident Cards, etc." on June 14, 2026.

The "Specified Resident Cards, etc." are new cards introduced to integrate with My Number Cards, and are expected to improve convenience for foreign nationals and streamline administrative procedures.
