DIC Corporation (Headquarters: Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture, Representative: Toshimasa Tsuchida) is launching "IMPLTM* (I-EM-PI-EL)," a body conditioning brand designed to support the physical and mental well-being of outdoor workers. As its first product line, the COOLING SERIES will feature the "COOLING PAD" and "PELTIER COOLING VEST," set to be released on July 3, 2026.
IMPLTM is a body conditioning brand for outdoor workers, with the brand message "STAY, ACTIVE. Supporting your active self, every day." It is not just a brand offering heat countermeasures; it aims to support workers in adjusting their physical and mental condition and preparing for their next actions amidst continuously changing outdoor environments, such as prolonged heat waves, sudden heavy rains, and extreme temperature fluctuations.
The first product line, the cooling series, includes "Cooling Pads" for cooling the body during short breaks or before and after work, and "Peltier Cooling Vests" equipped with a 4-unit Peltier device to support heat countermeasures during work.
Notably, the Cooling Pad differs from conventional icing products used in sports for injury prevention and first aid. It has been developed for outdoor workers to cool specific body parts—head, neck, arms, torso, and thighs—during breaks or before and after work. It supports the condition of outdoor workers throughout their day, not just during work, but also during breaks, commutes, and before and after tasks.
IMPLTM: A Body Conditioning Brand Supporting the Physical and Mental Well-being of Outdoor Workers
*"IMPLTM" is a brand for which DIC Corporation has filed a trademark application.
About IMPLTM
IMPLTM (I-EM-PI-EL) is a body conditioning brand that supports the physical and mental well-being of outdoor workers.
The environment is constantly changing. Work styles are constantly changing.
Prolonged heat waves, sudden heavy rains, extreme temperature fluctuations. Outdoor workers are in an increasingly unstable and harsh environment. Furthermore, in an era where higher performance is demanded within limited working hours, what is needed is not merely enduring the environment or pushing oneself to the limit.
It is about adjusting one's own physical and mental state, switching gears, and creating a condition that facilitates the next action. And it is about protecting one's ability to stay active.
IMPLTM is a body conditioning brand born to restore the condition of an overused body. Through products that combine practical functionality with designs that blend seamlessly into daily life across various industries and job types, we support the condition creation for people who spend their time outdoors to keep moving forward.

Development Background: Shifting from "Enduring" Heat to "Conditioning"
In recent years, with the prolonged periods of extreme heat, heatstroke countermeasures in outdoor work have become an even more critical issue.
According to data released by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the number of heatstroke-related deaths and injuries in workplaces in Reiwa 7 (2025) was 1,803, the highest since statistics began. Furthermore, starting June 1, 2025, revised Industrial Safety and Health Regulations will come into effect, obligating employers to establish reporting systems and create and disseminate procedures for workers at risk of heatstroke, including taking breaks, cooling the body, and transporting to medical institutions.
Amidst these environmental changes, the heat countermeasures required for outdoor workers are shifting from simply enduring the heat to cooling the body and adjusting its condition, encompassing work periods, breaks, and before/after tasks.
On the other hand, conventional heat countermeasure products for work have primarily consisted of cooling wear worn during work, fan-equipped wear, and rugged items specialized for specific job sites. However, the day of an outdoor worker is not confined to just the work period.
Commute, travel, before work, during work, breaks, after work. The effects of heat and fatigue continue throughout the day.
Therefore, IMPLTM has re-evaluated heat countermeasures to include breaks, commutes, and before/after tasks, not just during work.
The Cooling Pad is a cooling gel pad that reinterprets the concept of icing used in sports for the purpose of cool-down during breaks or before/after work for outdoor workers. It is developed not for injury prevention or first aid, but to rapidly cool specific body parts—head, neck, arms, torso, and thighs—during short breaks, to help switch gears and create a condition that facilitates the next action.
Meanwhile, the Peltier Cooling Vest is wearable cooling gear that supports heat countermeasures during work.

Industry First* Offering 5 Types of Body-Part Specific Cooling Pads for Outdoor Workers
The "Cooling Pad" is a product for rapid body cooling during short periods such as breaks. It can be cooled in a refrigerator or a cooler box with ice packs and reused.
Five dedicated shapes are available for the body parts you want to cool: head, neck, arms, torso, and thighs. These items provide rapid cooling without power, during short periods such as before work, during breaks, during commutes, and after work.
Unlike hard ice packs, the soft unfrozen gel and thin, highly thermally conductive fabric fit flexibly to joints and skeletal structures. By cooling a surface area rather than a single point, it broadly cools the target area.

Cooling Pad Product Features
・Instant cooling effect of approximately -8°C in 1 minute* The fabric sandwiching the cooling gel absorbs heat upon contact with the skin, providing cooling.
* Cooling temperature difference based on in-house wear tests. Cooling pad worn after cooling for 1 hour in a refrigerated environment of approximately 1°C in an environment of 32°C ambient temperature. Cooling temperature and effect vary depending on product storage temperature and usage environment. Effectiveness is not guaranteed.
Cooling Mechanism: The fabric sandwiching the cooling gel absorbs heat upon contact with the skin, providing cooling. Cooling temperature varies depending on the ambient temperature and time of pre-cooling. Thermographic image before wearing (left) and 1 minute after wearing the Cooling Pad Vest.
・Soft, highly thermally conductive thick unfrozen gel and thin outer fabric fit the body while cooling a wide area.
Thick, soft texture Fits flexibly to joints and skeletal structures.
・Can be cooled in a refrigerator or a cooler box with ice packs and reused.

Peltier Cooling Vest: Supports Heat Countermeasures During Work with 4-Unit Peltier Device
The "Peltier Cooling Vest" is a cooling vest equipped with a 4-unit Peltier device.
Provides cooling support for time spent outdoors, from work to breaks and commutes. Four cooling Peltier units cool the body from the back, supporting heat countermeasures during outdoor work.
It achieves both a maximum cooling of approximately -22°C and a long operating time of up to approximately 8 hours. Furthermore, it features 4 cooling modes, a "fluctuation mode" that varies the cooling temperature, and 6 attachment holes allowing for device placement adjustment based on body size and desired cooling points.
The large armholes are designed for ease of arm movement. It is equipped with front adjuster buckles that allow for adjustment of attachment position and fit, pursuing ease of wear during outdoor work.

Endorsement of the Heatstroke Prevention Voice-Calling Project
DIC Corporation endorses the "Heatstroke Prevention Voice-Calling Project," a long-standing public-private partnership project that has been active since 2011, involving private companies and local governments. We are engaged not only in selling heat countermeasure products but also in awareness activities for heatstroke prevention.
The IMPLTM COOLING SERIES is a product that supports heat countermeasures for outdoor workers, certified by the Heatstroke Prevention Voice-Calling Project. In conjunction with heatstroke prevention awareness initiatives, we will support condition creation for work, breaks, and commutes.
*This product supports heat countermeasures and does not completely prevent heatstroke. Please use it in conjunction with frequent hydration and salt intake, appropriate breaks, and health management.
Future Development
Starting with the COOLING SERIES, IMPLTM plans to continue developing products that respond to seasonal and environmental changes as a body conditioning brand that supports the physical and mental well-being of outdoor workers.
Beyond heat countermeasures, we will support condition creation for people who spend their time outdoors to keep moving forward, including cold protection, recovery, rest, and improvement of the work environment.
