Too Marker Products Inc. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President: Gota Ishii), the manufacturer of the Copic brand sold in over 70 countries, has announced the launch of the new 'Copic Multiliner Plus' in mid-July 2026.
The Copic Multiliner Plus is a drawing pen featuring water-based pigment ink that is both water-resistant and alcohol-resistant. It comes in a wide variety of line widths and colors suitable for artwork, illustration, journaling, and hand lettering.
Based on feedback from loyal users of the original Copic Multiliner, the company has improved nib durability, color accuracy, and ink performance. A major upgrade is the ability to replace both the ink cartridge and the nib. Cartridges and replacement nibs are available for all colors and line widths, allowing users to reuse the pen body rather than disposing of it.
The lineup includes 8 standard colors plus a limited edition 'Turquoise.' Line widths range from an ultra-fine 0.03 to a brush type. Additionally, ink capacity has been increased, and nib durability has improved by an average of 70% compared to previous models. Prices start at 297 JPY (tax included). Pre-sales will be held at 'Bungu Joshi Haku Tokyo 2026' in June and at 'Tools' direct-managed stores in July 2026.
