Under this project, the company will comprehensively manage Fukuoka Prefecture’s cycle tourism reception system, providing one-stop operations including the management of rental bike reservation systems, customer inquiry responses, bike delivery and collection, and support for arranging cycling guides and support vehicles.

About the Project Fukuoka Prefecture has previously advanced initiatives to promote cycle tourism, such as training cycling guide personnel and establishing recommended cycling routes. The newly entrusted 'FUKUOKA Cycling Tour Concierge' aims to attract domestic and international cyclists by offering one-stop support for travel agencies, groups, and individuals when organizing cycling tours—assisting with rental bike arrangements, cycling guides, support vehicles, and luggage transport services (wheel-in support).

Doctor Pedal’s Role Doctor Pedal will be responsible for the full operational scope required for cycle tourism, including rental bike lending operations, reservation system management, user support, bike delivery and collection upon request, coordination with guide and support vehicle providers, and route proposal assistance. Additionally, the company will handle system maintenance and improvements to multilingual support, aiming to create a secure and accessible environment for a wide range of users, including inbound tourists.

Leveraging Past Experience in Fukuoka Doctor Pedal has previously managed wide-area rental cycle operations in Ibaraki Prefecture and has supported vehicle operations, maintenance, and user services for municipalities across Japan.
