Dom Dom Hamburger, operated by Dom Dom Food Service Co., Ltd. (Location: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President: Shinobu Fujisaki), will be holding a collaborative project with Choshi Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture; President: Ikki Nishigami).
This project includes participation in the "Choden Festival 2026" held by Choshi Electric Railway Co., Ltd. on July 19, 2026 (Sun). Other plans include changing the headmarks on some of Choshi Electric Railway's trains to original Dom Dom marks, creating a "Dom Dom Train" with Dom Dom exhibits displayed in one carriage, selling limited edition plush toys inspired by the train's colors, and offering a "Nure-senbei Burger" at select stores, which expresses the appeal of Choshi Electric Railway's famous "Nure-senbei" (wet rice crackers) in burger form.
Why Dom Dom and Choshi Electric Railway?
Although the two companies may seem to have little in common at first glance, they actually share many similarities. Dom Dom Hamburger was born as Japan's first hamburger chain and has continued to build its brand recognition and fan base through unique product development and merchandise sales. Choshi Electric Railway, on the other hand, supports people's lives as a regional transportation infrastructure while also expanding its fan base nationwide through unique projects like "Mazui Bo" (Bad-tasting Stick) and "Nure-senbei". Both companies share the philosophy of "competing with individuality, not scale," "valuing close relationships with customers," and "continuing to take on challenges without being bound by convention." This collaboration has been realized precisely because both companies have earned the support of many customers through their unconventional ideas and playfulness, which large corporations cannot easily replicate.
A New Encounter Connecting "Communities"
Both companies have passionate fan bases. This collaboration aims to provide an opportunity for the fans of each "community" to discover new attractions. We want fans of Dom Dom to learn about the charm of Choshi Electric Railway, and fans of Choshi Electric Railway to learn about the charm of Dom Dom, thereby creating opportunities for increased interest in both brands and encouraging visits.
Entertainment That Energizes the Region In recent years, "experiential value" has become increasingly important in regional revitalization. This project offers multifaceted experiential value, including not only the enjoyment of purchasing products but also the fun of collecting limited-edition merchandise, the excitement of experiencing the unexpected combination of trains and hamburgers, and the joy of sharing it on social media.
By joining hands and creating smiles and conversation, we aim to contribute to the local economy and tourism.
Exhibiting at the Choden Festival 2026!

We will be selling our "Reishido Domu Zokun Yaki" (Chilled Domu Zokun Grill), a new initiative for us.
