Dramatic Frontier Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that its representative director, Dan Mitchel, who identifies as a 'dramatic artist,' has appeared on the popular YouTube program 'Reiwa no Tora' to promote his creative community project, Dandy Asobi Club (DAC).

During his appearance, Mitchel shared his vision of 'serious play' and the overall scope of the DAC project, which connects this philosophy to program production, community formation, and the development of an economic zone.

DAC is not merely an artistic initiative or a video production project. Mitchel aims to build a community where people gather through aesthetics and naturally expand through resonance. The core vision of DAC is to prove the value of expressions that remain irreplaceable in the AI age, focusing on human physicality, improvisation, and sensory richness, without segmenting disciplines such as music, theater, dance, film, education, and philosophy.

Mitchel has described this vision as 'Seriousness x Playfulness x Resonance.' By balancing seriousness and leisure, he seeks to connect artistic activities to human spiritual evolution. Furthermore, DAC introduces the concept of a 'Cognitive Team'—a unique framework designed to ensure that people with diverse values and expertise move toward emergence rather than conflict.

Currently, the DAC project is running a crowdfunding campaign on CAMPFIRE titled, 'Dan Mitchel's 'Serious Play': Program Recording in Five Major Cities and Submission to Overseas Film Festivals!' The campaign runs from May 23, 2026, to June 30, 2026, with a target of 30 million yen. The goal is to produce a unique program at shrines in five major Japanese cities, fusing music, theater, dance, and other cultural acts, and to leverage this for submissions to overseas film festivals and global distribution.
