Renowned Rakugo Performers Gather in Makuhari, Chiba!

Celebrating its 12th year, the 'Makuhari Mihama Yose' features an all-star lineup. This year, we welcome Bunshi Katsura, a treasure of Kamigata rakugo; Shozo Hayashiya, a leading figure of Edo rakugo; and Miyaji Katsura, known as the 'King of Laughter' in the Reiwa era, for an unforgettable performance.

Enjoy a feast of 'superb laughter' woven by traditional arts and a special course menu exclusively created for this event by the hotel's executive chef. Experience a special day that delights all five senses in the sophisticated space of our hotel.

Performers

Bunshi Katsura: Debuted in 1966. Holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-serving host of a single talk show ('Shinkon-san Irasshai!'). Has created approximately 350 original rakugo pieces.

Shozo Hayashiya: Debuted in 1978. Achieved promotion to Shin'uchi at a record-young age in 1987. Currently serving as Vice Chairman of the Rakugo Association, he is a leading force in Edo rakugo.

Miyaji Katsura: Debuted in 2008. A former live demonstration salesman. Achieved a rapid promotion to Shin'uchi in 2021 after 29 years. A regular member of the popular TV show 'Shoten' since 2022.
