Hotel New Otani Makuhari Opens Reservations on 6/1 for its 30-Minute-from-City Resort Pool

Hotel New Otani Makuhari will open its outdoor pool, 'Shell Pool,' for a limited time from July 18 to September 22, 2026. Ahead of this, reservations and 'Pass Cards'—which allow unlimited daytime pool access throughout the period—will go on sale starting June 1. Despite being just 30 minutes from the city center, the pool offers an open, tropical resort atmosphere. Starting this year, a new 'Short Plan' is available for those who wish to enjoy the pool for a quick 2.5-hour session. Pass Cards are priced at 60,000 yen for adults and 30,000 yen for children, and include complimentary deck chair usage.
