Launch of Natural Capital Monitoring Solution

NTT Docomo Business, NTT Docomo Solutions, and Biome have officially launched the 'Natural Capital Monitoring Solution' to visualize, evaluate, and continuously track the state of natural capital such as forests, water, and air. This solution supports corporate 'Nature Positive' management by streamlining the assessment of ecosystem status. With nearly half of the global economy dependent on natural capital, biodiversity loss is accelerating. While companies are required to understand their impact on nature, traditional manual surveys are costly and labor-intensive. This solution combines satellite imagery with Biome's massive biological database to map vegetation and species distribution. This enables significant cost reduction and expanded survey coverage. Starting at 2.5 million yen per area, the companies plan to expand the service to support municipal strategy development and corporate environmental reporting.
