Manareku, the evolved version of the 'Lounge' school plan adopted by around 500 schools nationwide, is now available for entire school use at ¥4,980/month (excl. tax). Pilot schools can currently apply for up to 9 months of free access.
Bullet Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tamomi Yamasaki) has launched 'Manareku,' an evolved version of its classroom ICT tool 'Lounge,' used in approximately 500 schools nationwide. The service will begin on June 30, 2026.
'Manareku' is a service that allows students to answer questions posed by teachers using their own devices, with all class responses displayed on a single screen.
With a TV-show-like presentation that displays responses one after another, the tool adds a game-like feel and moderate tension to regular lessons. It visualizes individual answers and thoughts that are difficult to capture through hand-raising alone, supporting the creation of inclusive, participatory classes.
The service is available for the entire school at a monthly fee of ¥4,980 (excl. tax).
There are no additional charges based on student numbers or teacher IDs.
In conjunction with the launch, Bullet Inc. is recruiting pilot schools that can use 'Manareku' free of charge for up to 9 months.

What is 'Manareku'?
'Manareku' is an ICT tool for schools that combines learning with recreation.
Teachers pose questions, and students respond using devices such as tablets or computers.
Responses—including correct, incorrect, and unique answers—are shared with the entire class, enabling more than just answer-checking. It facilitates teacher explanations and peer discussions.
Rather than replacing entire lessons with ICT, 'Manareku' is designed to be easily integrated into existing classes for 5 to 15 minutes—such as lesson introductions, comprehension checks, reviews, or reflections.
Development Background
In schools, while opportunities for students to use devices are increasing, challenges remain regarding how to effectively incorporate devices into lessons and how to reduce teachers' preparation and operational burdens.
Additionally, when teachers ask questions to the whole class, responses often come from only a few students, or opinions may be dominated by those who are more vocal. With 'Manareku,' all students can respond simultaneously from their own devices.
By displaying students' names and answers in a list, teachers can quickly grasp the class's overall understanding and differences in thinking. For students, seeing their own answers displayed on the classroom screen makes lessons more engaging and participatory, rather than passive.
Bullet Inc. has previously provided the school-focused service 'Lounge,' which has been adopted in approximately 500 schools nationwide.
In a teacher survey, 96.43% gave favorable evaluations on questions related to 'student reactions.'
Based on these adoption results and feedback from school sites, the company has enhanced usability in classrooms and school-wide operations, launching the new service as 'Manareku.'

Key Features of 'Manareku'
1. Display all class responses on a single screen
Students respond to teacher-posed questions from their individual devices.
Collected responses are displayed in a list on classroom monitors or projectors. By enabling simultaneous viewing of all students' answers—not just a few—teachers can more easily understand each student's comprehension and thought processes.
Teachers can use the responses for explanations, and students can discuss their reasoning, supporting further lesson development.

2. TV-show-like presentation to boost student engagement
The tool uses a TV-show-like presentation where student responses appear one after another on the screen.
Unlike traditional quizzes or hand-raising, this creates anticipation: 'How will my answer be displayed?' 'How did other students respond?'
By adding recreational elements to learning content, it creates an environment where students naturally participate in lessons.

3. Free-form handwritten-style responses
Beyond selecting multiple-choice options, students can write characters, symbols, and more by hand on their devices.
It supports a wide range of questions across subjects and grade levels—such as descriptive answers in Japanese or social studies, chemical symbols in science, calculations in math, and English vocabulary.
Since individual expressions and thought processes appear directly on screen, it enables not only correctness checks but also response comparisons and discussions.

4. Easy integration into existing lessons in a short time
'Manareku' is not designed to replace entire lessons.
It can be used in short segments of 5–15 minutes—such as warm-ups at the start of class, review of previous content, comprehension checks during class, or reflections before class ends.
By replacing regular teacher questions or mini-quizzes with 'Manareku,' schools can begin participatory lessons without significantly changing their teaching methods.
5. Entire school use for ¥4,980/month
The fee is ¥4,980/month (excl. tax).
Instead of usage-based pricing by student or teacher count, the fee is set per school. Therefore, even if more teachers or grades use the service, the fee does not increase.
It can be used across various classes and activities within the school, not limited to specific classes or teachers.
