Veltex Shizuoka Announces Contract Expiration and Transfer of Masaya Furumaki

Personal Message: I have decided to leave Veltex Shizuoka after four seasons with the team. I repeatedly promised to reach the playoffs every year, but I deeply regret that I could not fulfill that promise. Although we did not achieve our goals, I can proudly say that I gave my absolute best for Veltex Shizuoka every single day. The journey was filled with hardship and difficulty. Yet, I truly experienced personal growth—not only from success, but from learning and evolving through failure, and from learning to appreciate what we already have rather than focusing on what we lacked.

To all the Veltex Shizuoka fans who supported me through every situation, I sincerely want to say thank you. Standing beside me in the arena, fighting alongside me even after every loss— that is by no means something to take for granted. That is precisely why I wanted to repay your support with results. I will carry this feeling forward and apply it to my next chapter.
