1. Background
The Company offers LCM services that support the entire lifecycle of IT equipment, from PC rental, operation, collection, data erasure, to reuse and recycling. In particular, the area from the collection of used PCs onwards has been positioned as the ITAD business, and expertise has been accumulated.
In recent years, driven by the utilization of generative AI and the advancement of data utilization, corporate AI infrastructure has become more sophisticated and large-capacity. According to the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA), the market for data center-related products is expected to reach $1.6907 trillion globally in 2030, approximately 2.5 times larger than in 2025.
With the expansion of AI infrastructure-related equipment, the importance of appropriate ITAD response during the update, removal, and disposal of AI servers, network equipment, and large-capacity storage is expected to increase in the near future.
Furthermore, as this equipment stores and records important information, careful and consistent handling is required during disposal, including traceability, data erasure, and proper processing.
2. Service Overview The main response flow and provided value are as follows.
3. Future Development
In its ITAD business, the Company has developed responsiveness and operational know-how utilizing its seven bases nationwide through the appropriate disposal of IT equipment, primarily PCs, over many years.
In the future, based on changes in the market environment and customer requests, the Company will leverage this expertise for servers, storage, and network equipment, contributing to the safety, efficiency, and reduction of environmental impact in corporate IT asset management.
At present, the impact of this matter on the Company's performance is expected to be minor. If any matters requiring disclosure arise, they will be promptly announced.
