World Air Race Champion Yoshihide Muroya to Lead 'Sky Sports Class' for Elementary Students in Fukushima on June 7

On Sunday, June 7, 2026, the 'Sky Sports Class,' an experiential workshop hosted by the Fukushima Prefectural Sports Division, will take place at Fukushima Sky Park. Yoshihide Muroya, the 2017 World Air Race Champion, will participate as an instructor again this year. We invite members of the press to cover this event.

This popular annual event, now in its 11th year, allows children to experience the world of air sports, which they rarely encounter in daily life. It has become a special venue for experiences only possible in Fukushima, attracting many participants every year.

This year, we have prepared numerous unique programs where children can fully engage their five senses to experience the 'sky' and the spirit of 'challenge.' We hope you will join us on-site to cover this event, which continues to pass the 'baton of challenge' to the next generation who will lead the future of Fukushima.

*The event is for elementary school students (grades 4-6) residing in the prefecture and their guardians (100 groups, 200 people).
