Pulsar Co., Ltd., operator of Vending Machine JP, has installed the F-30AVM food and daily goods vending machine at the unmanned Fukuhara Station on the JR Mito Line in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The station area faced challenges with shopping convenience, as the nearest convenience store is a 10-minute drive away and trains run only 1-2 times an hour. The vending machine was introduced following a public proposal by Kasama City to support the daily purchasing needs of residents and commuters. The F-30AVM model handles up to 30 items with different shapes and sizes, including city-designated garbage bags, tissues, masks, bread, and snacks. It offers multiple payment options, including cash, credit cards, and electronic money. The exterior features a custom design provided by Kasama City with warm greetings. Through this initiative, Pulsar aims to support local shopping needs at unmanned stations and will continue to solve regional challenges nationwide.
